This week my husband and I took a day and a half off from our daily routines. We went in search of color. We found it in the quaint town of Woodstock, VT surrounded by the Green Mountains. This little beauty was named one of the “prettiest towns in America” by Condé Nast Traveler. I heartily agree.

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I’ll let these speak for me.

Because the Woodstock Inn required a two-night stay, we checked into 506 On the River. It’s much newer, but it was delightful.

Our quick trip was just what we needed to energize us. What did we bring home with us besides our memories? Maple Syrup, of course, purchased at the Sugarbush Farm.
